UV Curing Provides Total Printing Solution

Adding UV curing to your printing process increases product quality with long lasting, vibrant colored inks that will not fade or smudge.  Ultraviolet (UV) technology is highly effective at curing inks and coatings for a strong, durable outer coating that increases efficiency along with providing a higher level of quality product.  By utilizing UV curing with your printing process, your products can be cured automatically by running through the UV curing system as part of the total printing process, thus saving time and money with secondary operations.
Systematic Automation Provides UV Curing with Powerful 400 WPI
Systematic Automation has 35 years of experience in designing, engineering and manufacturing high quality screen printing machines, vacuum tables, and total turnkey printing solutions for a multitude of industries around the globe.  Our UV curing system provides powerful 400 WPI to instantly dry and cure inks in only seconds.  This is much more efficient than other methods which use air drying or chemical solvents.
In addition to efficiency, UV curing with your printing process aids product quality as air dried items tend to dry unevenly due to evaporation.  With UV curing, the cure is instant leaving no room for inconsistencies.  Chemical solvents require safety measures for safe handling, along with following the proper methods for safe storage and disposal.  With UV curing, you incorporate a safe and effective method for instantly drying and curing your inks, which requires very little to no maintenance, no storage or use of chemicals, and one that produces high quality, evenly printed products.
Systematic Automation offers state-of-the-art UV curing machines that process a variety of shapes and sizes, including flat, cylindrical or odd shaped products.  Our UV curing systems deliver adjustable configurations for various product requirements, ranging from 200-300-400 WPI for optimum UV exposure.  Our 360° UV curing system delivers all over even cure to a variety of product sizes with rotating vacuum platens holding your product firmly in place during all over UV curing.
Systematic Automation is the industry leading manufacturer of screen printing machines, vacuum tables, UV curing systems and flame pretreatment solutions.  We offer dozens of printer models to choose from so you get what you need, without paying more than you need to.  Contact us today to learn more about our screen printing turnkey solutions utilizing UV curing.

All Over Flame Treatment for Cylindrical Products

Flame treatment systems provide valuable surface treatments to a wide variety of products, enhancing adhesion of secondary printing or coating applications.  Flame treatment systems alter the chemistry of the surface exterior without changing the appearance, to allow for better adhesion.  Plastics are typically non-porous with a smooth surface which is not conducive to adhesion with inks and coatings such as varnishes and lacquers.  Plastic cups and products are often run through a flame treatment machine prior to screen printing to ensure a successful printing job with ink that will adhere to the surface and not wipe off or smudge.

Flame treatment machines are also useful when cleaning up or removing flash from products.  Flash is the term referred to when ‘strings’ of plastic are left over hanging off a product typically molded from plastic.  This flash, or leftover material, can be burned off without changing the product quality when quickly passed through the flame treatment machine.  This is much more cost efficient than having manual labor employees snipping or trimming parts to remove flash. An efficient flame treatment process effectively treats parts one after the other, improving part quality with reduced labor expense.   .

Versatile Flame Treatment Machine for Cylindrical Products

Systematic Automation has over 35 years of experience in designing, engineering and manufacturing high quality vacuum tables, screen printing machines and automated equipment such as the Model FL Flame treater, and our UV Curing systems.  The Model FL offers the most versatility available on the market today with the ability to treat products of varying size and shape at the same time, with no tooling changeover.

Our Model FL provides an even and consistent flame treatment process to varying products such as mugs, plastic bottles, glasses, drinkware and bottles of differing shape and size with our brilliantly designed rotating vacuum platens.  Items are held firmly in place with our powerful and rotating vacuum platens, allowing 360° all over treatment to the entire circumference of the item.

CNC Automated Cutting Systems Enhanced with Vacuum Tables

Automated cutting systems like computer numerically controlled (CNC) operations utilize vacuum table systems to ensure consistent accuracy during cutting applications.  Plotter cutter processes typically require a heavy-duty vacuum pump to hold substrates firmly in place.  Vacuum pumps may be designed with activation of specific zones to enhance vacuum pressure where needed.
When cutting fabrics, a sacrificial layer may be used to help hold the fabric in place while cutting and discarded after.  Sacrificial layers may be make of PVC, Porex, polypropylene or any high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and are designed with matching holes to not reduce any vacuum suction.
Automated plotter cutter systems are typically used when manufacturing large cut fabrics such as boat sails, which require the use of a standard blade.  When cutting through sturdy material such as carbon fiber, a carbide blade may be required.  Most plotter cutter systems use a rotary blade that easily cuts through fabric without pushing it down, such as a 28mm blade.
Automated Vacuum Cutting Systems by Systematic Automation
Systematic Automation has over 35 years of experience in designing, engineering and manufacturing vacuum table systems which lead the industry in flatness.  Our vacuum tables boast +/- .001” per linear foot, even in large oversized vacuum system.  Our standard size tables are available in smaller sizes such as 5” x 6” all the way up to 72” x 144”.  Tables that are larger that 48” x 48” require added support beyond the standard design of 4 points to maintain precision flatness.
Systematic Automation offers custom designed solutions along with advanced engineering features such as a Formica table top to aid processes with conductivity issues, anodizing for added insulation and corrosion resistance, custom designed bases for any size or shape along with custom hold patterns to fit your application.
