360° Flame Treatment for Various Cylindrical Products

Flame treatment is performed on various products to alter the exterior surface for additional manufacturing or further applications to the product.  For example, flame treatment can assist with secondary processes such as screen printing onto items by altering the chemistry of the item’s exterior in such a way that inks and coatings are applied with better adhesion.
Flame treatment machines are also used to remove flash from certain products.  Flash is plastic or metal that is left over from a molding process that should not be there.  An example of flash would be a plastic cup that has ‘strings’ hanging from the end or sides that is left over material from the molding process and should not be there, thus requiring removal.  Rather than have an employee manually cut off all flash you can expose your items to flame treatment and burn them off rapidly without jeopardizing the quality of your product.
Flame treatment machines are also used to burn away contaminants on items with a quick and precise process.
Systematic Automation Provides Versatile Flame Treatment Machine
Systematic Automation is a leader in automated equipment for screen printing, vacuum tables, UV curing systems and flame treatment systems.  Our Model FL flame treatment machine provides versatility like no other, with the ability to treat various products at the same time.
The Model FL accommodates cylindrical products such as glasses, mugs, drinkware and plastic bottles. By combining our superior vacuum force onto rotating platens, you can treat products of varying sizes and shapes easily without making major adjustments to the machine.  Exposing the outer surface of your product to flame, then quickly rotating on a 360° platen for even exposure, the model FL delivers consistent flame treatment to the entire circumference of the product.
Systematic Automation is a leading manufacturer of screen printing machines, vacuum tables and flame treatment machines.  We have over thirty years of experience designing, engineering, manufacturing and installing automated equipment to companies and OEMs around the globe.  Contact us today to learn how we can provide cost saving automation to your business.
